SENIOR SERVICE ENGINEER

Role Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and reliable team players to join our services team as part of our growth plan. The role will involve working in HV environments predominately within the UK (Generation, T&D, Waste to Energy and industrial companies). Key aspects of the role are:

  • Maintenance and asset management duties for Switchgear and Power Transformers across the UK
  • Acting as a Team Leader within the Services team
  • Production of work related Health and Safety documentation
  • Responsible for Health and Safety on assigned sites
  • Customer liaison

Requirements

  • Experience within the transmission and distribution arena would be a distinct advantage
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and quality processes
  • Ability to write method statements and risk assessments
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering expertise
  • The role has a predominately HV Switchgear bias however, a knowledge of Power Transformers, tapchangers and associated maintenance and asset management functions would be advantageous
  • Ability to perform manual tasks
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients are essential
  • Good man management skills
  • Basic computer skills required

Qualifications

Preferably an HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar.
